Out West
LaBonte Canyon, Medicine Bow National Forest, Wyoming. This is a lovely, remote canyon with many dispersed sites along LaBonte Creek. There is a hiking trail up Curtis Canyon near the end and a forest service campground as well. Two ATV trails connect here too. It was relatively busy for a spot 29 dirt road miles away.
