We are Perri and Dan. In September 2022, we made the change to nomadic living in our simple self-built camper van, SteVAN. We’re working from the road, and exploring wild places, interesting geology and great hikes and food along the way!

People often ask us how long we plan to live this lifestyle. The answer is simple: until we don't want to anymore! Truthfully, there are so many places to explore, we can't imagine ever setting down again.

We are hanging around in #maderacanyon today, hoping to hike some of the trails and catch a little rest after a busy couple of days in Tucson. Check out this #moonrise! 😍 Met this guy while walking the roads of #maderacanyon #vanlifediaries #ontheroadliterally #vanlifediaries #arizona #southernarizona #tarantula #bigspider Another day in the #catalinamountains outside of #tucson . We moved to lower elevations and took a very short walk on the #arizonatrail We found #snow in #southernarizona ! #Camping at 9000+ ft will do that. But it’s beautiful here among the #pinetrees
